Meadowlands "Night at the Races" Legislative Reception
On October 22, the annual Meadowlands "Night at the Races" Legislative Reception concluded a very successful year of NEW JOBS fundraising. Event chair and NJBIA President Phil Kirschner hosted the event which had a phenomenal turnout of 146 attendees including 17 legislators. It was another great NEW JOBS event that provided our attendees one on one interaction with key decision makers as well as wonderful networking opportunities. Photos

Mercer/Hunterdon Legislative Reception
On October 14, Event chair Patrick Ryan from Hopewell Valley Community Bank hosted the seventh annual Mercer and Hunterdon Counties Legislative Reception at the elegant Mansion on the Bristol-Myers Squibb corporate campus in Hopewell. Joining Pat and his 64 guests were Assembly Majority Leader Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-15), Senator Shirley Turner (D-15), Assemblyman Reed Gusciora (D15), Assemblyman John DiMaio (R-23), and Assembly Candidate Erik Peterson (R-23). The elegant Breakers Hotel, on the ocean in Spring Lake, was site of this year’s Monmouth and Ocean Counties Legislative Reception. 55 guests attended including speakers State Senator Chris Connors (R-9) and Assemblywoman May Pat Angelini. Read more.

Morris/Sussex Legislative Reception
The national corporate headquarters of pharmaceutical giant Daiichi Sankyo was the scene of the Sixth Annual NEW JOBS Morris/Sussex Legislative Reception held on July 16th in Parsippany.  Daiichi CEO Joseph Pieroni hosted the 67 guests, including 7 legislators, along with event Chairman Paul Boudreau, President of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce. On May 20, Sun National Bank President and CEO Tom Geisel joined the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey and the New Jersey Business & Industry Association in hosting the 23rd Annual NEW JOBS South Jersey Legislative Reception. With over 100 guests and 10 lawmakers in attendance, Event Chair Geisel helped kick off the 50th Anniversary year of NEW JOBS, the Business Pac of New Jersey. See photos.
